Our "Main Event" Tournament is coming to TV

Okay Poker Players.. are you ready for this?  ..... A new chapter in Chicago Charity Poker is about to be written. Together, with the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation, we have been working with a Production Company to come in and tape our "Main Event" tournament at 7:00 pm on January 31st. The Final Table action will air on TV sometime mid-to-late February. In addition to creating priceless exposure for the charity, this taping offers our poker players a chance to demonstrate their poker skills on TV, for all to see, just like the WPT and WSOP.

There will be some footage shot during the early and middle stages of the tournament. However, the cameras will roll during each hand when we get down to the Final Table of six players. The footage will be edited and shown during the televised broadcast.

As of this publication, final details are still being worked out with the Television stations. Since the details have not been finalized there is the unlikely possibility that the taping and/or airing doesn't come to fruition.

However, if anyone prepays for this tournament, but the taping, for some reason, does not occur, you will be able to cancel out of the tournament, without paying any cancellation fees whatsoever. We will keep you updated on the progress.

So don't delay. If you'd like to play for a chance to show your skills  on TV, register now before all seats are taken. This tournament will have a limit of 50 players. Seats are awarded to the first 50 who pay.

You can pre-pay for this tournament online and guarantee yourself a seat. The deadline for pre-paying online is Monday January 26, or you can pay at the event. We accept only cash at the event.
