Main Event Charity Games™ is a Fundraising and Event Planning Consultant Firm specializing in helping non-profit organizations, who have obtained a Charitable Games license, to  run Vegas-style poker tournaments and poker games. The charities we work with, bring you live poker in a Las Vegas style setting and specialize in running Vegas and Atlantic City style poker tournaments and poker games.

Charities are hosting live charity Chicago poker games in which players will have the opportunity to play for real money and compete for prizes that include WSOP, WPT, Heartland and other major live buy in events.

Under the Illinois Charitable Games Act, residents aged 18 and over can play for real money all while helping out deserving charities. We understand that the Chicago poker player wants quality and live professionally run poker games in a casino-like setting, which is what the Chicago poker player will experience at our "Main Events". Depending upon the event, we will be running several styles of poker that include Texas Hold ‘Em , Omaha, 7 Card Stud, Razz and Blackjack tournaments.

Many of our Chicago poker tournaments are filmed for broadcasting on Comcast SportsNet Chicago. Be a part of the Chicago excitement by letting your family and friends witness your poker skills on TV. Look for the label "Windy City Poker Championship" next to any tournament on the Events Detail page (displayed from the calendar).

There are Chicago live poker games and Chicago live poker tournaments in which poker players have the opportunity to play for real money and compete for prizes that include the World Series of Poker, World Poker Tour, Heartland and other major live buy in poker events.

All you have to be is 18 and over to play for real money in our Chicago poker tournaments and Chicago poker games. Our rakes are all consistent with Casino Poker rooms, especially Horshoe, Harrahs and Majestic. You will find, in most cases, our rakes are lower than you will find in Casino Poker rooms. We understand that the poker player wants quality and live professionally run poker games in a casino-like setting, which is what our poker players will experience at our "Main Events".
